F.A.Q.

Are Coles shirts hand made?

All of our shirts are workroom made, using the same single needle sewing machines that we have always used and as you would use at home. The shirts are also finished by hand. For our ladies’ shirts sewing types will vary according to the design.

How do I care for my shirt?

Machine wash at no more than 40 degrees centigrade to keep your Coles shirt in optimal condition and ensure longevity. The shirts can either be spun or wrung, but not tumble dried. It is preferable to iron the shirts while they are still damp, as this makes ironing easier; if they are dry, simply use a water spray. Do not starch collars and cuffs.

Will my new shirt shrink at all?

All our fabrics are pre-shrunk. Coles allow approximately one centimetre extra in the collar and the sleeves for further settling of the fabric that may occur.

Will I have to pay any duty to have my shirt delivered to me from the United Kingdom?

Whilst every effort is made on our part to minimize the need to pay duty on goods outside of the European Union, it cannot be guaranteed that duty will not be levied.

Will the shirts be delivered directly to my door (either office or home)?

Yes, all shirts will be delivered to an address of your choice. Our shirts are delivered by Royal Mail Recorded or International services, which will need to be signed for.

What Payment methods do we take?

We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card or personal cheques or over the telephone, using the details in the contact section. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners, Delta and Switch Debit cards. Additionally we accept payment in either Pound Sterling (£), US Dollars ($)

What are our returns policy?

If any shirt or product fails to meet with your approval, you can return it within 14 days of purchase, for an exchange or a full repayment, less cost of postage and packaging (Actual cost may differ from location to location).

Can I pay by telephone?

Yes, by using the number located in the contact section, you may pay by debit or credit card over the telephone.

Where do we deliver?

Please note that as a security measure we do undertake random checks to ensure the consistency and accuracy of your name, address, and telephone number and email address. In addition, in view of the increase fraud using the internet, we regret that for all first time orders placed can only be despatched the CARD HOLDERS ADDRESS ONLY.

We aim to despatch all stock items within ten working days. However, some items require modifications and advise that shirts requiring button cuffs of pockets may take approximately 4 weeks. If you return an item for an exchange that is in stock then we will despatch your exchange as soon as possible. Your business means a lot to us and we do not want to lose it.

Spend over £150 (UK), €150 or $150 (US), delivery is FREE.

Parcels delayed or missing abroad

Unfortunately most parcels abroad undelivered turn out to be either held in customs awaiting import duty/clearance or an attempt to deliver has been made awaiting a re-arrangement for collection. In either case the parcel is delayed for upto 13 weeks (depending on location) held in a warehouse before being processed for return or is considered lost.  In all cases we have to liaise with UK agents and the postal service before processing refunds.  Please note that this can take approximately 2 month from notification of non receipt to verify the location of a parcel as they have to liaise with other countries.
